June is for dads

DAD - remember to TAKE TIME for yourself this Father’s Day - and ALWAYS

Take time to WORK. it is the price of success.
Take time to think, it is the source of power.
Take time to PLAY, it is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to WORSHIP, it is the highway to reverence.
Take time to be friendly, it is the road to happiness.
Take time to LAUGH, it is the music of the soul.
Take time to dream, it is hitching your wagon to a star.
Take time to LIVE. Happy Father’s Day! God bless all fathers this day and ALWAYS. God guide and protect you all.

May even this TIME work to the good for those who love the lord

When the looting and violence and the burning ends, when the effects of the shut down begin to pass and prosperity returns, when the Corona virus is just a moment in the past,

MAY WE NEVER, EVER TAKE FOR GRANTED AGAIN
* A handshake or a kind word from a stranger
*A hug from a friend
*Full shelves at the grocery store
*A Friday night out with your spouse at your favorite restaurant
*Looking for a parking space at your kid’s ballgame
*Lunch with a coworker
*Kisses on the cheek by your grandchild
*Long walks with the dog
*Wedding ceremonies for someone special in your life
*Saying goodbye in a funeral service to a loved one you won’t see again on earth
*Each and every breath we take

When this present darkness ends, may we walk in the Light of new and better Day and find that we have become more like the person
we wanted to be and
were called to be.

LORD, forgive us for taking so many of your simple blessings in life for granted. Amen.
— Beautiful words by Chaplains Laverne M. and Sylvia M. May they be true for all of us. Stay safe. Be Well. May god truly be Emmanuerl - God-With-Us during this time!

A child’s prayer for their family

Dear God,
Bless my Mommy and bless me.
Bless my Daddy to make three.
Bless all my family through and through.
God, You bless us and we thank You!
Amen.
— Have fun and add your own lines to fit your family! For example, 'Bless my sister to make four. And Bless my brother who makes one more.'
